Rates 

In person or Online Consultation: $50 per 15 minutes

Individual: $150 per 45 minute session

Couple/Family: $170 per 45 minute session

Family Meetings: $225 per 60 minute session

Therapeutic Visitation: $170- $200 per 45-60 minute session

Documentation Fee: $75 per 30 minutes of preparation/sending

Insurance

Many insurance plans reimburse for a portion of therapy. Please direct any questions about reimbursement amounts and timeliness to your insurance company. A Purposeful Path is not contracted or in-network with any insurance company. It is important to understand that out-of-network benefits can vary from plan to plan. Therefore, for details regarding your plan, contact your insurance carrier.  It is helpful to ask about your out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services (also known as: individual counseling/therapy, family therapy, marriage therapy, mental health counseling). A Purposeful Path is happy to provide you with a statement for therapy services that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. 

There are several reasons why A Purposeful Path does not accept insurance:

  • You and your therapist are in charge of goals, length of treatment, and therapeutic choices.

  • You pay less because we don’t spend your valuable time on insurance paperwork and billing.

  • Insurance companies require a diagnosis to authorize treatment. These negative labels can follow you throughout your life and may interfere with your ability to apply for insurance in the future. Also, by remaining out-of-network, your files are not shared with anyone connected to your insurance company without your permission.

Payment

Cash, check, credit cards (VI, MC, DS, AX), and HSA or flexible spending account cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you haven't notified A Purposeful Path at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the FULL cost of the session.
